The wanderer pushed aside a curtain of ferns, eyes fixed on the looming silhouette ahead. There it stood: the Queen's Throne, or so the legends called it in their reverence for Eikthyr's majesty. Moss draped over the cold grey stones like a heavy velvet cloak, and the air grew still, charged with an unseen tension. As the wanderer approached the altar, the ground seemed to tremble slightly, as if the earth itself was waking from a long slumber to greet its ancient master.
